100 Day Celebration~!!

Friday January 23rd was my 100 day "Peakgil" celebration!! We had some of my family over to celebrate this Korean important day. Many years ago in Korea, they celebrated when a baby turned 100 days because it meant they would most likely live a full life. The 100th day is when the baby is introduced to society and everyone who they have not met yet. There was so much food (but i still just ate my formula) and even though I went to bed at 8pm (my bedtime), my family partied and sang kareoke until early in the morning... suprisingly I slept through the wonderful kareoke!!!

Bathtime and Playtime...

Mommy wanted me to post some pictures of me playing because she said I am really starting to enjoy playtime. I think I always enjoyed it but she just didn't see that. I am trying to learn to suck my thumb but I find that shoving my whole fist in my mouth is actually much more entertaining.
Sometimes my mommy likes to take pictures of me when I get out of the bathtub but I always make it much more fun for her by peeing all over the place without my diaper on while she takes the picture heheheh. that'll show her... alhough I'm sure those bathtime pictures will make it into my senior yearbook somehow down the road.

Over the long weekend our family went on a ski trip with a bunch of my daddy's side of the family. We went to snowshoe and it was absolutely freezing. Daddy tried snowboarding and came home really cold and sore. I played with my oppa Connor and my unnie McKenzie a lot and relaxed with mommy at the house while everyone else froze out there. Next year I'll make daddy put me in my bjourn and go skiing too :)

My first day of Daycare!!!!

I'm sorry that my mommy hasn't let me write on my blog lately...we have been very busy. Mommy had to go back to work so I have been going to daycare at Miss D's house. It's really fun... there are two other babies with me too! We play all day and Miss D reads to us and plays with us. I love when mommy comes to pick me up though in the afternoon and then we go home and play. Here are some pics from my first day - I gave everyone a hard time my first day hehehe.

Santa Bores Me

Mommy took me to see Santa yesterday. We met up with my friend Emerson and he did a great job of taking a picture with Santa. He looked so handsome and really loved Santa's beard. The elves wouldn't let him touch the beard though. I however got bored and slept the entire time. Mommy tried to wake me up but I refused... especially since she dressed me up in this crazy christmas outfit. However, when we went upstairs to shop I woke up and mommy tried to rush me back downstairs for a picture with Santa. I made sure I was asleep again by the time we got down there... hahahah SUCKER!!! Looks like she will have to dress me up again and try again another day hehehe. naptime.... see ya later alligators!

Yesterday I visited my future University....UVA!!! Mommy nd Daddy and I took a picture in front of the Rotunda but it was too cold to get out of my cozy, warm carseat. We had lunch at The Virginian with uncle Jose and uncle Lucas... they told silly stories and daddy told me to put my "earmuffs" on :) Whn we got home, we went to Turkey potluck and all the ladies hung out with me. I was fussy and tired but I still had fun. Time for a nap!

Hi Family and Friends!!

So two days ago I turned 1 month old.... can you believe it?!? My mommy has asked me to start this blog so that everyone can see what I am up to (thanks to auntie Rita for showing us the blog). Mommy and daddy threw me a 1 month birthday party with my stuffed animal friends. Three of them were able to join us and we had cake and one candle! Daddy had to blow it out for me though because I was crying... I wanted to eat the whole cake but they wouldn't let me :( I have to run... time to eat lunch! see you all soon :)
